The Atair piano trio is made up of three young musicians who came together in September 2002 under the guidance of violin professor Tomaž Lorenz to perform chamber music. Their first public performance took place on the 1st Allegretto Festival of young chamber groups, followed by concerts around Slovenia (GM On-Stage Tour, concerts organised by Jeunesses musicales Ljubljana, etc.) as well as in Croatia, Italy and finally in Vienna (as part ofthe presentations of music academies from the new EU member states). Their repertoire spans works by Schubert, Haydn, Beethoven, Rachmaninov, Martinu, Handel and Shostakovich, and also includes works by Slovene composers (L. M. Škerjanc, N. Šenk, etc.).
