Ljubljana Jazz Festival (end of June - beginning of July, Ljubljana)

The Ljubljana Jazz Festival has taken place annually since 1960 and is thus one of the oldest festivals of its kind in the world. Every year they host a number of top flight musicians from around the world, taking care to also present acts from the local jazz scene.

Festival Lent (end of June - beginning of July, Maribor)
The Lent festival takes place on the river Drava and is the largest festival in Slovenia.
